Class Duration

Our courses usually consist of a morning or afternoon session, typically lasting 3 ½ hours. They are designed to be fast paced while maintaining a relaxed and fun atmosphere. 
Unless specified otherwise, we generally do not have time to break although refreshments of tea and coffee will be available throughout your course in our dining room.
Some courses where stated do have lunch or dinner included as part of the course. 

Tutor Expertise

All our tutors are experienced chefs, and are all many currently working at our parent company, Chef Duet Catering Co. 
  They specialise in preparing and executing meals for weddings and events year-round, while also teaching our courses. Most have spent numerous years in large commercial kitchens, bringing a wealth of experience, knowledge, and outstanding reputations to the table. 

Where are the courses held?

All courses will take place in Chef Duet's state-of-the-art professional kitchen at Chef Duet Catering Co., Bridge St, Bideford, EX39 2BU

What do I need to bring?

Nothing. Just a willingness to learn & eager attitude…

Will I have to share a space, or will I have my own?

All students will have their own workstation space unless working in teams on some courses; where you will be expected to share a space or gather around a central workspace. 

Can I take photos or video?

YES, we encourage you to do so.

Are there any refreshments?

There is a dining room area where students can make tea or coffee, included in your course fee. 

What should I do if I have special dietary needs?

We embrace a variety of dietary requirements and encourage you to inform us in advance during the booking process. This way, we can make the necessary adjustments to accommodate your needs. 
  The only exception to this policy is for those who are coeliac or adhering to a gluten-free diet. We offer dedicated courses specifically designed for certain dietary preferences. 

What will I take home?

You will take home any foods you make on this course.
